Kohler Raw Water Pump Update - Replaces Old style 344089 and 344371 pump on 8, 10, 12 Models C and E

Introduction
Kohler Co., Generator Division has received reports of water pump drive belts slipping during startup on 8/10/12.5C and 8/10/12.5E model marine generator sets. The friction of the raw water pump impeller causes the belt to slip on some generator sets. Upon generator set shutdown, as the engine speed slows, the engine rocks slightly in the reverse direction. The seawater pump impeller vanes reverse direction and lock against the side of the impeller housing. When the operator restarts the generator set the seawater pump belt
loosens and slips when it cannot move the impeller

This updated pump replaces the original and eliminates the slipping belt problem.
